The Single Dad by Marni Mann Release Blitz & Review

The Single Dad by Marni Mann is now live!

A sexy single dad and nanny romance from USA Today best-selling author Marni Mann …

Most college-aged girls go to Europe to experience their sexual awakening.

All I had to do was come home.

Ford Dalton isn’t the kind of man I’d look at twice—because I can’t stop looking at him at all.

We can’t take our hands off each other in the bar.

Back at his house, it’s our lips.

And in his bed?

There isn’t a single part of us that’s not on fire.

One night would never be long enough for Ford to show me every delicious thing he can do to my body.

But there’s something he’s keeping from me: he’s already met the love of his life.

His daughter, Everly.

And there’s something I’m keeping from him: I just applied for the job of my dreams.

Everly’s new nanny.

There are five stand-alone books in the Dalton Family Series:

The Single Dad (The Dalton Brothers, #3)The Single Dad by Marni Mann
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Ford and Sydney's forbidden romance was quite a journey! The steam was certainly hot! The love that each of them had for Ford's daughter was so captivating. I adored the relationship that was formed around caring for that little girl. There was never a time in the read where I felt that Ford and Sydney didn't belong together. They were right from the start! Even when they both tried to be professional and put little Everly first, they found a way to be mature and compassionate towards one another's feelings and find a way to make it work.

The way in which Ford spoiled Sydney, showing her places she'd never been, made her feel wanted and cared for. She wasn't about the billionaire lifestyle and Ford could see that. He found ways to share his wealth with her but on a level she could appreciate. Syd was such an incredible heroine in this book and her empathy and heart shined through the entire read. I can't say one bad thing about her! Ford was such a wonderful father and his love for his baby came first in every single decision he made. It was clear that she was his entire world, until Sydney came along and split his heart between two lucky ladies. He kept a level head during chaotic times, he granted compassion and forgiveness when necessary, he loosened his tie and chilled out a bit when he was able.

I found The Single Dad to be more tame than the first 2 books in this erotica series and I actually enjoyed it. The bedroom (and other places) scenes were scorching but it didn't overshadow the true story. The heat was strategically placed in this book and I really appreciated that.

I gave The Single Dad 4 stars because it hit all the marks you want in a romance. I don't usually love single parent stories where the child has a ton of dialogue, but it worked in this book.
