Bailey and Alex/Riggs were everything I love in a romance story! Each had such strong personalities on their owns but when they got together, the best parts of them shined. I loved how different they were characteristics wise yet they meshed so well together. This book had all of the elements I love in a contemporary romance read. Denial of feelings, tension, skeletons in the closet that don't stay dead, family drama, miscommunication and steamy bedroom scenes!!!! This couple kept me on the edge of my seat with everything they had going on in their personal lives and the time they shared together.

Brit Benson really found her writing stride in this novel. Her debut was wonderful don't get me wrong, but this book felt like she really discovered a groove and brought us this novel from a deep, raw and personal place. The writing was better, the character development was phenomenal and the emotion you were forced to face head on with was so much heavier. This book was everything I had hoped it would be for Bailey and Riggs.

I highlighted so many passages in this story because it was just so witty, yet emotional. The back and forth between Riggs and Bailey had me cackling at times and wanting to shake them silly other times. The chemistry between these two was off the charts, not just sexually. They had a real connection on a very deep level that couldn't be ignored or denied. Their passions aligned and I think that really helped them see more eye to eye and appreciate what each other had to offer.

I really loved the little tidbits with the side characters that we got in Better With You! Jesse is hands down the highlight of the friend group for me and I cannot wait for his book! I just know it's going to be extraordinary!
