𝗜 𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book seriously threw me into a WTF loop! I knew what I was getting into when I picked it up but I had no idea how truly dark and violent it would be! Cole was a twisted, cold blooded vigilante and Austin was his female counterpart down to her core. THIS BOOK WAS THRILLING & CHILLING!

There were a LOT of characters in this read, which made it hard at first to figure out who was who. So much chaos, deception, secrets, scheming, etc. You never really knew who to trust! Everyone had a hidden agenda.

I rated this book 4 stars because I did love the characters, the twists and turns of the read, the darkness and angst. I didn’t care for the copious amounts of crime and murder that high school boys somehow constantly got away with.

The epilogue was so amazing! My heart was going to break into a million pieces if Austin was dead! I would have loved some more info on why Cole and Deke chose the ironic profession that they did. But the rest of the story wrap up was satisfying.

𝗜 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨:

I loved diving back into the world of the Sharks! This story picked up right where the first left off (before the epilogue) and alternates between the POVs of Cole and Deke.

I fell harder and faster for Cole with this book. His redeeming qualities really shined through and showed how he was truly capable of loving, caring and protecting. The lengths he went for Austin were never ending. I was so happy to see him stand up for what he believed in and cared about, even if it meant crossing his powerful father and anyone else who stood in his way.

Deke, one of my favorite side characters also stepped up his game in this read and proved himself not only as a loyal friend but also a lover. He was truly the glue that held the gang together (or helped weed out the bad apples) and he proved his unwavering loyalty time and time again!

This read was full of suspense, deceit, lust, violence, betrayal, love and uncertainty! It did get confusing at times with so much going on at once and numerous characters going rouge but smoothed out in the end with clarity and jaw dropping satisfaction. The next installment of this story cannot come soon enough!

𝗜𝗙 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗘:

Shantel Tessier is an evil genius! This book sucked me in and spit me out. Just when you think it couldn't get any grittier, messier, more ruthless... the Sharks prove you wrong! No one comes between these men and who they care for. NO. ONE.

I was blown away by this book. It was so twisted and so merciless. Every time you think you have it figured out, the author tosses in another scheme and throws you off the scent. I was guessing what would happen and who would go down, right up until the very end! That's what I loved most about the writing in this story. It was unpredictable and suspenseful and twisted. So darn twisted!

I fell more in love with the Great White Sharks in this novel, especially Deke. One minute he was cold and heartless, the next his feelings were spilling out all sappy like. It just proved that no matter what these men have been through, they still have a heart somewhere deep down in that cavern they keep under lock and key. Same went for Cole. We all know what a cold-blooded individual he is but if you come between him and Austin, you'll pay the ultimate price.

The writing was nothing short of spectacular! Great dialogue. Hot and steamy romance scenes. Demented and unapologetic violence. I loved the walks down memory lane that the book showcased, giving you more insight and knowledge about the past and how certain situations went down. I enjoyed the way the story ended and how the author executed the epilogue. It was EVERYTHING! I hope this isn't the end of the Dare series because I need more of these deranged kids since they keep coupling up!

𝗕𝗢𝗡𝗨𝗦 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗧:
OMG! The petty taunting and fighting between Austin and Cole that always ends in hot, angry, making-up never gets old. I liked seeing their POV of the Death Valley scene that we were introduced to in Shantel’s story Make You Beg. The reappearance of Shane had me clenching my teeth and salivating for where that drama is going to lead in his upcoming story, Truth or Dare! It seems like Cole, Austin, Deke and Demi aren’t as safe in Texas as they thought they were!
