A solid 3/5 star read!

If you like angst, this is the read for you! The tension between Georgia and Archer was so thick you could cut it with a knife! They were either at each other's throats, or in the throws of passion. There was no in between for this couple. I absolutely loved Georgia. She had a huge personality and cared so deeply for her friends and family. Incredibly intelligent and driven too. I loved seeing her hold her own with the boys at the bar.

Archer took a bit longer to get used to. He was quite guarded and was constantly in fight or flight mode. His family drama was pretty much the entire reason he was a sulking grump. For being a grown man, he sure did make juvenile mistakes a lot.

I wanted to smack some sense into both characters numerous times through out the book. It seemed as though both were determined to cut off their nose to spite their face. They did talk, so it wasn't due to a major lack of communication. But it just seemed like no matter what they were feeling inside, they were determined to always run. That scenario happened one too many times in this book for my liking. I honestly didn't know if I actually wanted these characters to be together at the end of the book. They both seemed to have a lot to work through independently and their lust for each other became a distraction to figuring their own issues out.

I thought the author wrapped up the story nicely and worked through some of the major issues I had with both characters. I enjoyed all of the supporting characters in this book. They brought so much comedy and insightfulness to the story. Cohen's protectiveness of his younger sister was so sweet. The return of Georgia and Cohen's mother was an unexpected twist but it was great! The introduction of swoon-worthy Lincoln, Archer's brother, guaranteed that at least one more book would come from this crew.
