Solid 4 star story from Tia Louise!

Talk about a stressful read from beginning to end!!! The whole family history between the two main characters was so suspenseful and chaotic. This definitely felt like a modern day Romeo and Juliet type story line. Two individuals who came from rival families, that were forbidden from seeing one another but couldn't fight the attraction and chemistry. People got shot. Some locked away in castles (okay, maybe it was a mansion type home). Names were changed to hide identities. What a wild ride!

I absolutely loved the dynamic and relationship between Angel and Deacon. Everything about them was perfection. No matter what life threw at them, they overcame it and were stronger together. I loved how supportive of Angel's dreams Deacon was and how he encouraged her to follow her passion. Despite coming from entirely different worlds, they found common ground and made their love work. Deacon was such a humble, caring, attentive man and his love for Angel shined through the entire book. I swooned over and over again.

At times, Reckless Kiss was a little too confusing regarding the families and their pasts. That was the only negative remark I had about the entire read. I had to go back and re-read parts just to follow along the twisted and convoluted story line.

I liked the cameos and story tie ins from the crew in Alabama, where we originally met Deacon in Here With me. It was fun to see their paths cross but from a different perspective.
