I really enjoyed this stand alone romance novel by Ilsa Madden-Mills! The characters were extremely likable and intriguing, especially Jack Hawke! The meet-cute was hilarious and created this unstoppable avalanche of chaos as the truth unfolded. I laughed, I cringed, I sighed, I swooned. This story had it all!
The dynamic between Elena and Giselle made me so angry but as the story progressed, I started to have a change of heart towards the evil sister that Elena put up with. Karma got G in the end and I felt like she got what she deserved and finally saw her wrongful ways. The fact that she tried to turn things around with her sister at the end really helped me loathe her character less.

Every single scene between Jack and Elena was FIRE!!!!!! The chemistry, the longing, the simple ease between them. It was perfection. Opposites attract has never felt so good! I liked that the author put them through some drama to see if they could overcome obstacles and communicate.

The epilogue was so sweet and was the perfect icing to a delicious cupcake read. I'm highly anticipating more books in this world around the side characters, especially Jack's right hand man Devon! He was a hoot! We need more from the Daisy Lady Gang too!
